Yeasayer debuted their new video for “O.N.E.” on POPJUSTICE today.
Their video for Ambling Alp has been, so far, one of my favorites of the year (or the end of last). But this one takes the zaniness to a new level. It’s like a spectacular mash-up of TRON, Logan’s Run, the Mos Eisley cantina, MC Hammer and other assorted 90’s Freshness all rolled into one.
Video aside, I think, overall, Odd Blood is tits. Been heavy into it for the past several months. Stoked to see them with the uber buzzy Sleigh Bells in April up in SF.
Love this band, love this video. Great cuts. They work perfect with the security camera aesthetic.
L.A had some BEAUTIFUL weather today. It got me thinking about spring and sunny songs like this.
