The Notorious XX
San Francisco DJ Wait What released his Notorious B.I.G. vs. the xx mashtape this past week. Overall it’s pretty awesome. Sure, some tracks work better than others, but definitely more winners than not.
While the music sounds a bit slow for what we normally expect from rap, the quiet of the xx really highlights Biggie’s rhymes and flow.
Apparnently the mashup of Juicy and VCR, was the inspiration for Wait What deciding to completely marry the acts.
